Legal Advocacy Services
The Family Crisis Center, Inc. (FCC) provides legal advocacy services to both shelter clients and outreach clients in the community as part of our program. These services include, but are not limited to, assistance with:

Filing and pursuit of Orders of Protection
Filing and pursuit of criminal charges related to incidents of domestic violence
Attending civil and criminal court hearings with clients
Facilitating and aiding in communications with prosecutors, law enforcement, and Legal Aid of Arkansas
Providing resources and referrals to other community agencies (ie. DHS, Office of Child Support, Legal Aid of Arkansas, local food pantries, government phone services, etc.)
Providing general information related to divorce, custody, child support, and other common civil matters
Navigating through the civil and criminal justice systems
Providing support and encouragement throughout the process of navigating the legal systems, and empowering all FCC client
