No One Should Have to Go Through This Alone

The statistics show that domestic violence, sexual assault, and even human trafficking are impacting our community here in Northeast Arkansas. We are on a mission to end these tragic crimes, and we are here to support survivors every step of the way.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Volunteer. Between our resale store and community events, we could always use a helping hand.
  • Events. Whether you are volunteering your time or resources or attending one of our events, these events are a great way to show up and show your support.
  • Resale Store. You can volunteer your time to work at the store, donate items you no longer need, or shop at our store to support the Family Crisis Center.
  • Donate. Donations are crucial for keeping our work going. Financial donations allow us to provide much needed support to survivors, and donations of your gently used items support our shop.
  • Support. If you, your organization, business, or civic or church group can provide support to survivors, let us know so we can help make those much needed connections for our clients.

Make a Difference and Volunteer!

The Family Crisis Center is proud to work in a community that prioritizes supporting those who have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking. Since we were founded in 1986, this community has supported our organization, helping us grow the services we are able to provide those who need it most. We are so grateful that so many of our neighbors want to help us make a difference.

Volunteering can make a profound difference in the lives of survivors, signaling hope, strength, and a sense of community. By volunteering, you can help us create a safer and more supportive environment for survivors to thrive and rebuild their lives. Whether you are volunteering your time or your resources, any support you can provide helps us further our mission and helps our clients regain their independence. How to Volunteer at the Store

Our volunteers keep the Second Home Shoppe running smoothly, so we can support our survivors with all proceeds. We work with volunteers to sort through all donations received to ensure we are curating items in pristine condition.

How You Can Donate to the Store

Our resale store provides essential items to our clients, while all proceeds fund the support services we offer. We graciously accept donations of clothing for men, women, children, and babies, including boutique and formal wear, shoes, and accessories such as jewelry, glasses, and wigs. We also welcome household decor, toys, furniture, dishes, glassware, DVDs, CDs, and more!

How You Can Shop at the Store

We make sure we curate our resale store with high-quality items in excellent condition. So if you’re in need of clothing items, shoes, formal wear, jewelry, furniture, books, or other houseware items, consider shopping at our store where all proceeds go directly to the Family Crisis Center to fund our work.

How Could You Help with Events

The Family Crisis Center aims to hold a variety of special events to raise awareness about domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. All the proceeds from these events go to help the survivors that come to us for aid, funding the support services and assistance we are able to provide. You can volunteer to assist with our events, sponsor our events, or purchase a ticket to attend.
